School Photo

Have uploaded a picture of the school since the small one doesn't come up big!
The pine trees in the background are coming down next week - the BOT decided this should happen incase they blow down and end up on top of the school! Mike Hurring Contracting is going to do this at no cost to us - he seems to think he can recover the cost by shipping the logs to Korea.

Other mural

This is the other one - Norman has taken 6 photos and the children have transformed them onto the boards. Katelyn K. on bike, Keita pushing the large tube at the Mega Milk day, Amber going over the high jump and Thomas and Ryan with their pets.

Murals

Hi Anna, Thanks for the note back, I have tried to put 2 photos on here but haven't any luck at the moment - we did 4 murals but they are not quite finished yet. Norman is supposed to come back and do the finishing touches with the kids. The one at the top is Lucas and Lorna in the snow - one of Lisa's photos and the one underneath is some canoeing at Lake Dunstan.

Hello Miss Grant

Here is a picture of the Juniors at Waitahuna School
Hi Miss Grant. It's Hayley here. Below is a letter I wrote on behalf of the class. I hope you like it! Hayley

Dear Miss Grant
Hi! How are you?!? We hope you are well. We had pet day a little while ago and it was great fun. We wished you were here too! When are you coming back? The Juniors miss you! We are writing speeches. We hope to read some of them at the school concert. We have done some murals with Norman Sinclair. They look good and decorate the wall well. We went to Waitahuna School for a sports exchange day ( As you can se in the picture above). They are coming to our school this Friday. We went to a show at the Fortune in Dunedin. It was James and the Giant Peach. It was a great show and we all enjoyed ourselves. We got a fence put in on the edge of the court to stop the balls going into the carpark. It's great for Soccer and Dodgeball. We have entered a Touch team this season. We are called the Romahapa Rockets. We have played a few games and won all of them. There are 3 T-ball teams. A T-ball team, a Rookie Leage team and a Softball team. We have combined teams for Rookie Leage and Softball. We hope you are having fun,
The Senior Class
PS: Come back and teach us soon!!!
